Returns policy
Non Faulty Returns
At Scented Essence Perfumes, we understand that customers may occasionally change their minds about an order. To ensure a hassle-free experience for our valued customers, we are pleased to accept non-faulty returns within 14 days of delivery. However, please note that the customer will be responsible for the postage costs associated with the return.
For a return to be eligible, the items must be unused and in pristine condition, with their original undamaged packaging. Additionally, the customer is required to provide a valid order confirmation before the refund can be processed.
We would like to emphasise that all refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Faulty Goods
Our returns policy covers faulty goods and ensures that you are eligible for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date.
Conditions for Accepting Faulty Goods:
- The product(s) must have been purchased directly from Scented Essence.
- Proof of purchase, such as the original receipt or order confirmation, must be provided.
- The item must have a genuine manufacturing fault or defect that occurred within a reasonable time frame.
- Damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or accidents will not be accepted.
- The goods must be returned in their original condition, including all accessories and packaging.
Return Process:

- Provide our customer support team with relevant details about the fault and attach any necessary photographs to aid the evaluation process.
- Our team will assess your request and provide further instructions on how to proceed.
- If the fault is confirmed, you will be offered the choice of a refund, exchange for the same item based on availability.
- If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method within 14 days after receiving the returned product.
- In case of an exchange, our team will guide you through the necessary steps, including providing a return shipping label and estimated turnaround time.
